FROM SIDE HUSTLE TO COMMUNITY STAPLE OUR HISTORY Alliance Appliance (formerly Aladdin Appliance) was built on family values, military dedication, and a passion for helping others. It all started in 2017 when Tom launched the business as a side hustle from his garage while serving as an active duty Combat Medic in the U.S. Army. Inspired by his late father's company, Aladdin Services, the original name was Aladdin Appliance - a nod to the family legacy of service and hands-on care for our community. In 2019, Tom transitioned to the Army Reserves and took the business full time out of a storage facility, driven by a mission to offer affordable, dependable appliances and repair services to the community. By 2022, the dream came full circle with the opening of our first storefront in Summerville. Today, Alliance Appliance stands as a proud, veteran-owned, family-run business committed to providing high-quality appliances, fair prices, and genuine support to the community we call home. OUR OWNER Tom's story is one of courage, faith, and determination. A U.S. Army Combat Medic turned entrepreneur, Tom's life took a devastating turn in May 2021 when he was critically injured after a head on collision caused by an impaired driver almost took his life. Through unwavering determination, grit, and the grace of God, he defied every odd, relearning to walk in November 2021 and taking back his life one step at a time after. Alliance Appliance, what started as a dream during his military career and an impossible endeavor during his journey to healing, became a living testimony to perseverance and purpose. Today, Tom leads with humility, gratitude, and a servant's heart, showing that even after life breaks you down, you can rebuild stronger than ever. His journey isn't just about appliances; it's about people, second chances, and the power of never giving up.

Boasting walk-in humidors in all four locations, King’s Leaf Cigars is uniquely focused on bringing to our customers the best of what the cigar world has to offer. We started our cigar journey in 2015 with our first store, located in Downtown Charleston. We spent considerable time cultivating our humidor to ensure that we had exactly what we wanted to offer: a large variety premier cigars at reasonable prices. Couple that with our unwavering customer service, we found the magic that allows everyone that stops in our lounge to feel like a king. In 2017, we acquired our next shop in Goose Creek, South Carolina. This was a fantastic opportunity to bring some of the love for cigars that we brought to Downtown up the highway to Goose Creek. We immediately expanded the store’s selection, added shelf space in the humidor, reinvented the lounge, and made a particular effort to ensure that our local customers were as well taken care of as our visitors Downtown.
