Fete Wine Garden opens in the Kudu Coffee courtyard on Vanderhorst Street
Fete Wine Garden is now open in the courtyard at Kudu Coffee, 4 Vanderhorst St. in downtown Charleston. It is a joint project from Kudu owner Jenny Grosso and Joshua Walker of Wine and Company, who curates the list. Hours are Wednesday through Monday, 4 to 10 p.m., closed Tuesdays.

Air Canada drops Charleston for 2027 as Canadian visits fall 48 percent
Air Canada will not resume its seasonal Toronto to Charleston route in summer 2027, reversing an earlier plan, and is cutting several other U.S. routes while citing weaker demand. Cellphone data analyzed by the University of Toronto School of Cities shows Canadian visits to Charleston down 48 percent year over year, with Myrtle Beach down 65 percent and Hilton Head down 55 percent.

Red Lab Logistics buys former Liberty Tap Room site for Mount Pleasant HQ
Red Lab Logistics, a perishable food shipping company founded in 2019 by three University of South Carolina students, paid $3.45 million for the long vacant former Liberty Tap Room & Grill at 1028 Johnnie Dodds Blvd. The sale closed Oct. 14, and the company plans to renovate the 10,051 square foot building into offices and move in early next year.

OpenAI will auto change ChatGPT ad creative starting October 30
AdExchanger reports OpenAI has told advertisers it will automatically apply what it calls creative enhancements to existing ChatGPT ads beginning October 30. The feature is on by default, advertisers have to switch it off in their settings, and no human approval is required before a changed ad runs. The changes can go past background color and sizing to the headline or the destination link.
