Fire Prevention Parade and Display

Each year, the state provides a theme or targeted hazard to help lower risks through education. The event offers an engaging, family-friendly environment, with participation from multiple agencies committed to promoting public safety. Attendees can explore emergency apparatus, watch live demonstrations, and take part in hands-on activities and vendor exhibits designed for all ages. This event combines education and entertainment to raise awareness and help build a safer community.

Lowe's Home Improvement will be providing food (hot dogs, chips, and water) and a station for a small building project. Vendors will be set up to showcase fire and life safety information to attendees. Summerville Fire Rescue will have two stations for our live demonstrations, and smaller stations will follow the demo for hands-on activities for the children attending.
