Friends of Berkeley County Animals is a 501(c)(3), (EIN 83-3548657) that was created by animal loving volunteers to support the lives of animals within Berkeley County. We received our IRS 501c3 nonprofit determination letter in February, 2019 and our board has remained steadfastly committed to our mission. Since then, we have added new members to further assist with our growth and continued community participation. In the summer of 2025, we changed our name to more accurately represent the expanse of our support. We are now known as Friends of Berkeley County Animals. Note, while we transition our official documentation, you may see our name listed both ways.
