A slice on Dorchester Road, twenty years in the making

Joey's Pizzeria opened at 5060 Dorchester Road in North Charleston, in the Shoppes at Montague Corners. Joey Sakran, who moved down from upstate New York in 2008 and spent nearly two decades at Boeing, runs it with his daughter Rebecca. The menu is New York style slices, 14 and 18 inch pies, garlic knots, fried raviolis and a family recipe meatball.
