Decks & Docks opened September 29 at 644 Long Point Road, Suite F, in the Belle Hall Shopping Center in Mount Pleasant. The roughly 1,108 square foot store carries decking, lumber, piling, seawall products, railing, hardware, lighting and marine and dock accessories, with Greg Adornato as general manager.
Why this matters here
Mount Pleasant is built on creeks and docks, so a supplier of piling, seawall material and railing has a ready audience. The hard part for any new store in a shopping center is simply getting the nearby households to notice the door is open.
