Chris Hale of Mount Pleasant launched a web app called Appraze on September 29. It appraises resale items from a photo, calculates what a deal will cost before you buy, tracks inventory and helps write listings. Hale built it through his company Cooper River Trading Co.
Why this matters here
Hale built the tool he needed while running his own resale business around the Lowcountry. Software built by someone doing the work tends to fit the work better than software built for a market.
