The Volstad Room, at 15 Magnolia Road in Avondale, opened in July from Sam Pisasale, Ben Masto and Jason Stalker, who also co-owns Gene's Haufbrau. The cocktail bar launched a globally inspired small plates menu in October, in a space that previously held Voodoo Tiki Bar and Caroline's Aloha Bar.
