The first completed homes have been delivered at Wellstead at Strawberry, an 84-unit build-to-rent townhome community on 12.9 acres near Highway 52 and Old Highway 52 in Moncks Corner. Charlotte-based Canvas Residential Partners developed the project, with Center Park Group as third-party general contractor. Vertical construction began in March 2026 and the remaining homes are moving through a phased delivery. Layouts run three and four bedrooms, 1,451 to 1,775 square feet.
Why this matters here
Eighty-four households arriving in phases on a single Moncks Corner site is a countable pile of new customers for every business along that stretch of Highway 52. New movers are also the easiest audience in the market to win, because they have not yet chosen a pizza place, a dry cleaner, a vet or a dentist.
