Palmetto Moon is opening at 360 King Street in late fall 2026, ahead of the holiday shopping season. The company began in 2002 as a single kiosk inside Citadel Mall and now operates roughly 60 stores.
Chief financial officer Bernard Powers told What Now Charleston the space will retain many of the building's historic elements, and described the opening as a full circle moment for a brand that started here.
For local retailers, a homegrown company committing to King Street rent is a signal about expected downtown foot traffic this holiday season.
